Musing 04/27/14 ~ Nothing Really

Dreamscicle Cheesecake“A thing of beauty is a joy to behold!”

I should be this a mini-musing because there isn’t too much going on.  But what you see before you is the new Orange Dreamsicle Cheescake and the Barnes & Noble Café.  I had a slice of this with a Caramel Frappuccino.  Absolutely fabulous!

As for purchases, there was Blades of the Old Empire by Anna Kashina.  I didn’t see too much else new that I wanted to buy, at least not in mass-market paperback.

Most of the day was spent buying some clothes and garden supplies.  It looks like I’m going to have a really fabulous garden this year.  I also blew a pretty penny on a new patio set.  Hey you have to splurge once in awhile, right?

It’s hard to believe we’re almost into May.  My first week long vacation will be coming up excuse me – stay-cation, and I’m hoping to catch up on a lot of sleep.  But what I really want to do is finish up my two WIP’s.  Maybe do a Great All-Nighter.

Well I’m pretty exhausted and sore from working the garden so I’m calling it an early night.  I’ll hang out for a bit longer.  Oh yes, and I’m still looking for people to interview or do blog posts.  And just a heartfelt request – if I contact you about a blog post or interview and you don’t have the time or simply don’t want to do it, please say so.  Just a simple e-mail with a “no thanks” will suffice.  I know I’m not CNN or Publisher’s Weekly or anyone, but it’s just common courtesy I think.  We’re all very busy but I always make it a point to at least try responding to requests even if it takes me awhile.

Peace —

I'm a multi-published author of fantasy, erotic and paranormal fiction. I’ve been an author for over thirty years and got my start on an old typewriter at the age of five and wrote my first novel at fourteen. Probably the world’s biggest bibliophile I own three-hundred plus books and counting. When I’m not writing I indulge in my favorite pastimes which include working in my garden, cooking and I’m possibly the world’s oldest Girl Gamer. Feel free to contact me about the business anytime!
